I travelled in Uttaranchal for two weeks during diwali this year and it was heaven. When we reached Dhanaulti, the whole town had no electricity and it was freezing cold. And then I saw the shooting star that dreams are made of. It lasted for well over 9-10 seconds and was slow and bright. When the star reached front of my eyes, it suddenly brightened up and moved on before disappearing. The sky that night was so brilliant. A pity we dont get to see such skies in cities. And that star... that was the stuff smallville is made of.
Definitely the highlight of my trip.
