A very beautiful thing happened to me today. Mom and me went shopping and landed up at Mirchi gali in the depths of Crawford market. Ma wanted to pick up some jewellery to distribute to everyone when she visits her village in a couple of months. We were at this old and very sweet bori uncle's shop. After an excellent conversation on villages (his village is close to mom's village), karma and me, he refused to take 8 rupees out of our 108 rupee bill saying that he wouldnt. While parting, he suddenly gifted me this beautiful chain saying I was like his daughter and would love it. I could only smile and bow my head in respect.
